LB Error 'Application is already deleted' / Failed to Upload Error (Deleted/Purged Application)

When attempting to add documents to a LoanBeam application clients may encounter an error that indicates the system is unable to add the documents -

"Failed to upload document...Files are not uploaded since application is already deleted"

ENCOMPASS users may see -

When receiving the "Application is already deleted" message, it means the application has been purged from the database. (The active application period can range from 60 to 120 Days based on your company's contract/discretion). There is no way to retrieve the application/file once it has been deleted.  To move forward you'll need to create a new LoanBeam application.

  • If you have access to the LoanBeam dashboard, please create a new application there.
    •  Note: LoanBeam does not allow duplicate Application numbers for ACTIVE files. Purged files are no longer active, so using the same application number is allowed when recreating an application using the dashboard.

  • If you do not have access to the LoanBeam dashboard, please create a new Loan file in your LOS and then use your normal steps to request a new LoanBeam application.
    • For Encompass clients, please note - Each Encompass loan file only allows one LB application which is why a second loan file would need to be created.

Note: If you do not currently have access to the LoanBeam dashboard, and your company policies allow you to have access, you can request an activation link by emailing us at [email protected] .
