LoanBeam is not able to read password-protected files.

If a password-protected file is detected, you will be prompted with an error message letting you know that the file you are trying to upload is protected.

If you have a password-protected file, simply follow this guide in order to remove the password: 

STEPS:

1. Right-click on your password-protected pdf.

2. Go to the "Open With" menu and select Google Chrome.

3. The pdf will open in a Google Chrome browser and you will be prompted to provide the password.

4. Enter the password.

5. Next click the grey Printer icon in the pdf toolbar.

6. A printer menu will appear.

7. Click the "Change" button and choose the "Save PDF" option.

8. Click "Save" and you will be prompted to rename the file and choose a saving location. (desktop is best)
