How Many Tax Years will LoanBeam Accept in the application template?

LoanBeam templates are designed to give you 2 years of data, in a format that shows you the most recent year in the first column (i.e CURRENT) and the prior year in the next column (i.e PRIOR).

Based on the Guidelines of the Lender you are working with, you can submit either 1  year or 2 years of returns.  In 2022 those combinations are:

  • 2019/2020, 2020/2021
  • You can also upload 2020 alone or 2021 alone
  • You CANNOT upload 2019 alone

**Our LB workbooks are updated annually to allow the CURRENT year column of data to hold either the prior year or 2 years prior.  The CURRENT column will NEVER allow the data to be filled in with data from 3 years prior.**

Uploading more than 2 years of data

  • If three years are uploaded (19/20/21), LoanBeam will disregard the oldest tax year (19) and only display income for the two most recent years (20/21).
  • Clients who wish to process a 3rd year will need to create TWO LoanBeam applications (2019/2020 combined + 2021 alone)
